CMC Recycling got its start in Birmingham as a brand-new facility in 2004. Since then, we have proudly served Birmingham and the surrounding area, up to 100 miles. It’s our goal to provide only the highest level of customer service.

Our location features a Retail Express facility, specially-designed with the customer experience in mind. Our friendly staff are ready to assist customers with unloading their ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal and will gladly guide you through the entire process, ensuring you can get in and out of our facility quickly and efficiently.

Payment Guidelines

Customers must bring a form of federal or state-issued I.D. We can pay cash for transactions up to $3,000 for most items. For copper valued at more than $50, we are required by law to pay by check. We can only purchase aluminum copper radiators from licensed contractors. Certain other items may have additional requirements.
